    Transparency in everything the council does is particularly important. Rate-payers need a better idea and more detail as to what is being spent and how it is funded. We are also concerned that council expenditure has grown too much in recent years. Again, increased transparency will enable rate-payers to asses whether the allocation and level of council expenditure is appropriate.
