Member Briefing – Wellington
Date: Thursday 27 Jun 2019 Time: 10am to 12pm
Venue: ANZ Function Centre, Level 18, 171 Featherston Street
We are in the middle of the most extensive Employment Relations changes we’ve seen in the last ten years.
Getting business up to speed will be the focus of discussion at June’s Member Briefings, along with the usual economic update and employment cases review. This is your official invite and we hope you’ll take the time to join us.
It’s crucial your business is prepared, so come along and bring your questions with you. We want to provide support, and at the same time we want to hear your feedback to inform our future conversations with government.
We’ll look at the changes already in effect since 1 April, as well as what’s coming on 6 May.
- The Domestic Violence – Victims Protection Act;
- Payday Filing;
- The end of 90 Day Trials for businesses with 20+ staff;
- The tightening of break rules;
- The return of the 30-day Rule; and
- Automatic information sharing with unions;
- Plus many more.
