Westpac Smarts: Brand Strategy

Date: Friday 31 Aug 2018     Time: 12:30pm to 1:30pm

Venue: Wellington Chamber of Commerce Level 7, 3-11 Hunter St

Digital and social channels have drastically changed the access businesses have to control their own marketing. But with channels that are saturated with content - standing out with a clear, engaging and consistent ‘story’ is more important than ever.

A consistent, distinctive brand story helps organisations of any size to ensure their marketing activity cuts through in this environment - from helping businesses understand their most relevant selling points, and creating a cumulative out-take that makes your individual messages or channels work harder as part of a unified whole.

Join us at our next Westpac Smarts session with principal of Special Ad Service, Scott Henderson as he covers:

  • Why defining your ‘brand story’ is fundamental to your marketing and communications.
  • What makes a ‘brand story’, and how do you tell it?
  • What big brands and small clients have in common.
  • How to get the most value out of today’s communications suppliers.

Register now to hear how to make your brand story stand out.

Scott has close to twenty years’ experience creating campaigns for some of New Zealand and Australia’s largest clients – and leading agencies. He arrived in Wellington in 2002 as a senior creative at Clemenger BBDO, before creatively leading the offices of Ogilvy, Saatchi & Saatchi and Y&R as Creative Director.

His work has been consistently recognised with over 120 local and international advertising awards spanning creativity, craft, and effectiveness across traditional, direct and digital media.

In 2014, he launched Special Ad Service, a communications consultancy offering ‘Big thinking - without the big agency’ - and now works with clients ranging from start-ups, to small businesses, to some of NZ’s biggest commercial brands.
