Westpac Smarts: Profiting from your supply chain
Date: Friday 30 Aug 2019 Time: 12:30pm to 1:30pm
Venue: Wellington Chamber of Commerce Level 7, 3-11 Hunter St
This Westpac smarts event is dedicated to helping you improve profitability, gain competitive edge and enhance customer satisfaction through better managing your supply chain. This is your chance to gain practical, relevant advice from experienced practitioners and identify opportunities for improving your business.
Spend with suppliers is a significant part of the cost base of most businesses – often in the range of 40% to 70% across both direct costs and overheads. Overlooking the processes and relationships that make up these costs can be a big barrier for reaching your full potential as a business.
During this session the speakers will share their knowledge and experience, including;
1. Ideas on how to get the best from suppliers and supply markets
2. Insights into ethical supply chain considerations
3. Tips on how to acquire and improve bought-in value
4. Scalable approaches that are relevant to SME environments
This event is FREE & open to members only. Coffee and tea will be available on arrival.
