Your speakers:

Paul Beavon – Senior Psychologist 
With nine years of experience as a Psychologist in New Zealand and Australia, Paul has worked across a diverse range of sectors, including general public, emergency services, military and veterans, and offender rehabilitation—both in the prison system and the community. His deep understanding of human behaviour is complemented by a background in IT, having previously worked as a systems engineer and project manager across various organisations, including a role in automation at IBM. This unique blend of expertise allows Paul to bring a multidisciplinary approach to workplace well-being and performance.

Matt Houston – Occupational Therapist
With 20 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist, Matt has worked across inpatient and community mental health, supported tertiary students managing disabilities or illness, and provided well-being support for New Zealand Police staff. Passionate about holistic rehabilitation, Matt views occupational therapy as an essential tool in helping individuals regain independence post-illness or injury and improve their overall quality of life.

Claire McGrannachan – Senior Physiotherapist & Team Leader
A Physiotherapist with 20 years of experience, Claire holds postgraduate qualifications in Sports Medicine and Vocational Rehabilitation. As the Team Leader of the Wellington Well at Work team, she is dedicated to preventing workplace injuries and guiding both employees and employers in effective return-to-work strategies after injury or illness. Claire is passionate about workplace education, ensuring businesses have the knowledge and tools to foster a healthier, more resilient workforce.
