Mastering workplace wellbeing: The ‘what’, ‘why’ and ‘how’ of building thriving, high performing teams.

We would like to invite you to the next Westpac Smarts session where we will hear from Dr Fiona Crichton, health psychology specialist and clinical lead at Groov, Sir John Kirwan’s workplace wellbeing start-up. In this enlightening and practical session, Dr Crichton will discuss the important subject of workplace wellbeing. The session is especially timely, given recent evidence that workers in New Zealand are more likely to suffer burnout that in any other country. The presentation is designed to:

  • Provide an understanding of what is meant by workplace wellbeing.
  • Explore legal and business imperatives to control psychosocial risks at work.
  • Outline effective ways for leaders to create high wellbeing and high-performance teams.

Speaker Bio

Dr Fiona Crichton is a health psychology specialist and the clinical lead at Groov, Sir John Kirwan’s workplace wellbeing start-up.

Combined with a legal career incorporating roles as a litigation lawyer and a legal writer, Fiona’s work in health psychology has provided her a breadth of knowledge about the factors influencing psychological wellbeing and adaptive behaviour change.

Fiona brings these skills to the table in her work with Groov, as well as a track-record of implementing workplace wellbeing programmes that improve wellbeing and performance within workplaces around New Zealand and Australia.
